All images are lit using a Bowens 500R head with beauty dish and diffusion sock, along with a couple of reflectors bouncing what was strong sunlight on a perfect day in a beautiful place with cool people!

Manhattan through my eyes!

I have just returned from a short but sweet trip to New York, it is the first time i have been and i love the place. Such a buzz just walking around the streets watching people do their thing, and the light is incredible! So many things to photograph at times i was struggling to know what to shoot, as everything around me was worthy of an image. I did become obsessed with following the little pools of light that are formed by the sun bouncing off the skyscrapers, this forms an almost artificial light source and gives a beautiful quality.
I wish i had more time there, next time i will go for a week. I was only warming up and then it was time to go. Below is a few shots i took over my two day stay, hope you like them!
